Boutique Fitness Studios Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Did you know that every day 57 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people lose their lives to this disease?  


We've decided to raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.


Please support us and our pledge to save lives and make a difference.

Our 'WHY'

Cancer awareness, in general, means a lot to me because I’ve seen firsthand how easily it can go unnoticed. Cancer doesn’t discriminate by age or overall health—it can affect anyone. Knowing how silent and unpredictable it can be makes me passionate about raising awareness.

My nan has faced breast cancer twice in her life—once in her 30s and again in her 60s. The first time was when she had two young children, and it was terrifying to think they might grow up without her. My mum also had a scare with benign lumps, which was especially alarming after Nan’s diagnoses. It’s been a constant reminder of how fragile and unpredictable life can be.

I wasn’t born when my nan had her first battle with breast cancer, but I know it was incredibly hard for her as a young mum. At that time, treatments weren’t as advanced, and the chances of survival were much lower. Her second diagnosis was just as frightening because when cancer returns, it often comes back with a vengeance. Between those two battles, she also had cervical cancer and needed a full hysterectomy, so it felt like our family was hit over and over again. The uncertainty and fear were overwhelming.

The message we have gained is - stay positive and hopeful. Medicine is constantly improving thanks to ongoing research, and there are many success stories. My nan’s vigilance in regularly checking her health has saved her life multiple times. It’s a reminder that being proactive can make all the difference.
