Be a Pink Hero for the day – a cuppa, a splash of pink, and a whole lot of heart.
Every day in Australia, 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer, and 9 people die from the disease. These statistics touch every community, including ours.
On Wednesday, 8th April, the Brisbane CQU campus will come together over morning tea to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation and help fund vital breast cancer research.
Staff from across all faculties are invited to be Pink Heroes for the day, with pink treats, plenty of fun, and even the option of a splash of pink hairspray as we raise awareness and funds for a cause that matters.
Yes, the pink hairspray is optional!
Whether you are able to join us for a cuppa, add a splash of pink, or support the cause through a donation, every contribution, big or small, helps fund research that saves lives and brings hope to those affected by breast cancer.
