Loosing the Locks for Breast Cancer
Sunday 2nd AugHey everyone!
The time has come! Smole and I have decided that it’s time for us to loose our dreads! It just so happened that we arrived at the same conclusion about our dreads at the same time so we thought it would only be right that we did it together!
At the end of the month we’ll do the deed but we figured we might as well raise some dollarydoos for the national breast cancer foundation in the weeks leading up. While the money raised will go towards a charity that supports all sufferers of breast cancer, this is a good opportunity to raise awareness about breast cancer in both men and women. It is no secret that breast cancer affects women but most people are shocked to learn than men can also be affected and this issue is close to home for me personally as I lost my father to breast cancer. Even if you can’t support the fundraiser financially (understandable given the times we are going through) feel free to share this page and at least we can raise the awareness and potentially even prompt you or a loved one to get checked out!
