Triathlon Pink 2026-27 Series

Maria's blurb

Like many others, I just wanted to resume regular exercises to be healthier. But there was no motivation without any goals! So I registered for this triathlon with two other friends, Sally and Eunice, who are good in their own sport. Keeping active for a good cause!

Did you know that every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die every day from this disease?

As a GP, I have broken bad news to women before about their new breast cancer diagnosis. It was devastating for them and their loved ones. Those consultations were emotionally very heavy for me, and I wished no one else needed to go through this ever again.

That is why I am taking part in Triathlon Pink and raising funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

Please support me and my pledge to save lives and make a difference.

Every donation, big or small, will get me closer to reaching my goal. Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.
