I'm now a Zero Hero

This time last year I died my hair pink to raise money for breast cancer. This year I am doing the same, October is breast cancer awareness month. It’s very rare to not know at least one person effected by breast cancer, over 20,000 men and women have been diagnosed this year in Australia. Finding breast cancer early provides the best chance of surviving the disease. Although most people know this, it doesn’t hurt to hear it again. You don’t need to be an expert to check your breasts. Changes to look for include; a new lump or lumpiness, changes in shape or size of the breast, changes to the nipple, nipple discharge, changes to breast skin and unusual pain in the breast (or breasts). 

NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Together we can help them get there.
