In 2015, Rhy's mum Maria was diagnosed with breast cancer. After having gone through several treatments, she passed in late 2019. He pledged to continue helping people going through the same in some way, no matter what or how much.
In 2022, he raised over $3,500 for game-changing breast cancer research together with his lovely community (the Heathens) while hosting two amazingly engaging Game Days, becoming a Zero Hero.
He has raised over $900 this current year and is always keen to help the Game Day team and other passionate fundraisers alike.
