Husky Marathon for Mum

I am running the Husky marathon in loving memory of Bobby. In the hope that we can support further research to prevent deaths from breast cancer.

Mum

Tuesday 24th Sep
In December 2019 mum was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer that had metastasized to her bones. She handled the diagnosis with grace and strength and for the next four and a half years, she appreciated her beautiful life. I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with mum in those four and a half years and will always value that time. 

In a weird way, mum had a better cancer journey than most, it was easy to forget her diagnosis because she stayed so fit, healthy and happy. Mum was always determined that throughout her time with cancer, medical advances would improve her (and others) prognosis. 

I am raising money to help others' prognoses in the hope that someone else gets extra time with their mum, sister, daughter, friend.
