Emmaus St Leo's Breast Cancer Research Fund

Raising Money for those doing it tough

In 2015 I lost my mum to breast cancer after a long and brave battle with this terrible disease. I have seen first hand the hardships and pain that families go through whilst a loved one is dealing with breast cancer. Whilst this is a very difficult time, it is times like these that you truly see the way in which a community of loved ones around you can make the world of difference.

In the 4 years since her passing, the Emmaus St Leos Family has banded together to honour not only her but all of the ladies out there suffering from this horrible disease. To date we have raised $56,185 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and other leading Breast Cancer Research Foundations. This money has been used to invest in breast cancer research intitatives to help reduce the number of families who have to deal with this hardship.

This small grassroots club has shown kindness and generosity beyond its numbers and proves that anything is possible when you put your mind too it.

This year we will again be running our annual ladies luncheon, with 120 guests expected to enjoy all that the day has to offer. We hope that a culmunation of this lunch, as well as personal donations to this page, will allow us to reach our 2019 goal of $15,000 raised and push our total fundraising to over $70,000 over a 5 year period.

It is an absolute honour to be a part of this club and see first hand the joy and happiness it gives to those in the tightknit animals family, as well as the wider community.

So please if your able to, make a donation to this page or pass the link on to family and friends, and help this little footy club continue to make a massive difference for breast cancer research

Thank you so much for your support.
