Started by Robyn Cameron as a single event in 2008 (the Pink Ribbon Raceday at Gold Coast Turf Club), the Raceday has expanded into Sky Racing Pink Ribbon Race Week! With several race clubs taking part around Queensland, including: Pink Ribbon Cup Raceday at Gold Coast Turf Club, Albion Park (Harness Racing), Clifford Park Racecourse, Toowoomba and Sunshine Coast Racing. 

Since its inception, Pink Ribbon Raceday and more recently including the additional Race Week events, have raised over $2 million for breast cancer research.
