PLCC Cycle 4 Breast Cancer Challenge
Over the years I have participated in several cycling events to raise awareness and funds for a variety of charities. While some of these have been close to my heart, this event is personal.
My wife, Amanda, was diagnosed with Breast Cancer late last year. I am inspired by her resilience and at the same time, that she is not being afraid to show her vulnerability as she faces each challenge of her treatments.
Unfortunately, she is 1 of the 7 women in NSW that has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer! While I am on this journey with her, I will never truly know what she is experiencing, but I can support her by being with her for every treatment, every appointment, and every step of this process.
So, I am taking on the PLCC Cycle 4 Breast Cancer Challenge in October as a way of not only supporting Amanda, but all those that are impacted by this disease!
All funds raised will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to assist with vital research into Breast Cancer. The NBCF vision is ‘Zero deaths from Breast Cancer’ so I want to play may part in making this a reality.
Any support to raise awareness and funds for this worthy cause would be truly appreciated!
