I'm now a Pink Hero
A CAUSE VERY CLOSE TO HOME and my heart with family members affected by the female cancers.
I've spent 20+ years saying I'd do the chop and the time has come!!!
Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 Australians die every day from this disease?
And that about 25 women are diagnosed with Ovarian cancer each week.
I've decided to cut (and possibly shave if I raise enough money!) and donate 40-55cm hair for wigs and also raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast and ovarian cancer.
