Susan Loncaric

Australia, get ready, I’m going pink.

From 3-9 June, the National Breast Cancer Foundation is challenging the men and women of Australia to GO PINK in support of the thousands of mothers, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, daughters and sons that have been – or will be – affected by breast cancer.

I'm going pink because breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. It’s a disease we cannot ignore. But together, we can change the outcomes.

It is also because my Mum died from breast cancer back in 1986 after 10 years with the disease.  Each year, my daughter and I run in the Mother's Day Classic in memory of my Mum so GOING PINK is another way I can honour her memory and also raise funds for research.

While going pink this June, I’m raising money for game-changing breast cancer research.

I would appreciate it if you could donate to my page, you’ll be helping NBCF step closer to their ultimate goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

YOU can make a difference. Let me know if you want to GO PINK with me!
