I'm now a Zero Hero
Hi everyone in four days time on the second of December I will finally be turning 18. To celebrate I have decided to give back and donate to a cause that is very close to my heart. 3,058 Women this year alone have passed away from breast cancer and sadly 10 years ago my Nan was one of those women. At the age of 64 my nan sadly passed away from the disease. Although I was young at the time of her passing my mum told me how self-conscious she was about loosing her hair. Therefore, I have decided to chop off my ponytail and donate it to women who deserve it more than I do.
If you find yourself able to donate towards my fundraiser please like or share this post in the hopes of spreading it as far as possible. Any donations are greatly appreciated by myself and my family who hope that eventually no one will have to deal with the loss of their own grandmother, Mum, sister, aunt, cousin, girlfriend, friend or daughter.
Also for some incentive for those who are able to donate, If we are able to raise $500 by my birthday I will be dying the reminder of my hair pink in the hopes of raising more awareness for this special cause.

Hi Sophie, My mum has beat this terrible disease once but we just found out this week that two more spots have been found 12 months after her first all clear. Chemo and radiotherapy takes so much out of a woman and my mum at 70 has decided not to go through all that again.....hopefully the effort of people like you will change these outcomes in the future. Get your girls checked early girls, it may suck a high hard one but it’s better than the alternative. We need the strong women here to guide us all. X
