GO PINK SUCCESS AT WOOLIES LOGANHOLME
This week I have done it! After holding 2 sausage sizzles and bake sales we have raised a massive $1,043.10 for NBCF. I couldn't be more proud of my workmates for their help, support and donations plus the many customers we served over the 2 days. This was our 1st attempt at something like this so look out next year, we'll be better prepared and hopefully raise much more money.
It's time to GO PINK!
Having close family members who are fighting and winning or have lost has given me the incentive to GO PINK to help raise vital funds towards treatment and early diagnosis.
I don't want to be another statistic nor let my daughter have to go through it.
Too many of us have family and friends that have been diagnosed with breast cancer so let's get out there and try and beat cancer's butt.
GO PINK for me will be Thursday 6 June with the help of my fellow workmates at Woolworths Loganholme where we will be holding a BBQ for staff and customers as well as some great raffles.
Australia, get ready, I’m going pink!
On Thursday 6 June I will be GOING PINK for breast cancer. This has become close to my heart, with not just 1, but 2 family members diagnosed just before Christmas 2018. The implications that this gene is now in our bloodline to not only affect myself but my daughter and our future family members is very real.
My colleagues at Woolworths Loganholme will also be joining me. So come down to Woolworths Loganholme on the 6th of June for a sausage sizzle and some fun as you see us parade around in our pink.
All donations will be greatly appreciated whether big or small. Every dollar counts to no deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
