Pink Ribbon Morning Tea 8th of October - Rest
Each day in Australia, approximately 58 individuals are diagnosed with breast cancer, and an estimated 3,500 people will lose their lives to it in the coming year. This statistic became personal for mme when myy sister Natalia passed away a year ago at the age of 46.
Witnessing Natalias’s journey over the span of eight years highlighted the critical need for ongoing improvements in the quality of life for those living with breast cancer, regardless of where they reside. The focus on research must include overall well-being, not simply on extending lifespan.
This October, Rest is hosting a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea to raise essential funds for breast cancer research and support NBCF’s vision of achieving Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
