I've made a pledge to GO PINK! Color it!
"Anumol's Angels" is a tribute to my friend, Anumol, who courageously battled breast cancer. Despite her own struggles, she was a pillar of strength when I faced my own Breast cancer diagnosis. Anumol shielded me from the news of her relapse, determined to spare me any additional burden. Her passing in December 2023, at just 40 years old, leaves us with an irreplaceable void, reminding us of the urgency to combat this relentless disease.
I'm currently navigating through adjuvant therapy. Every day, I wake up with a renewed appreciation for life and a burning desire to make a difference. I've seen firsthand how crucial research is in the fight against breast cancer, and I've felt the warmth of the incredible people within Australia's public health system.
How am I going to do this? I am going to color my hair pink this week and post the video online! I did SHAVE my head last year, thanks to chemo.Â
