I'm now a Pink Hero
This April, I’m participating in a marathon and a HYROX challenge to raise funds for breast cancer research in Australia. Every day, 58 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer, and sadly, nine lose their lives.
I set myself a goal this year to push my physical limits, but doing so for a great cause gives me the motivation and power I need. The more I thought about it, the more I realised just how many people I know who have been affected by breast cancer. I count myself lucky that my family had a positive outcome, but sadly not everyone is as fortunate.
Every dollar raised goes directly to research aimed at preventing and reducing breast cancer deaths in Australia. If you’d like to support (or just enjoy watching me struggle through training), every donation is appreciated beyond words!
