Support my challenge to step up to breast cancer!
Right now, 57 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
One in seven Australian women and one in 542 men will get breast cancer in their lifetime.
On 30 October 2023, my mum, Caroline, was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. After a rollercoaster nine-month journey, we are thankfully able to say she is now cancer free!
But further research needs to be done to save more lives, improve early detection and offer better treatment options.
So this August, I'll be taking part in the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Step Up to Breast Cancer. Not only for my mum but for all those whose lives are impacted by this life-changing disease.
