Why we're running?

Thursday 4th May
Lucy, Rhi, Grace and Morgan have decided to run a half marathon in support of the National breast cancer foundation .

Some context as to why we're running:  
Recently our amazing friend Emma got diagnosed with breast cancer, understandably we're absolutely devastated with the news, and we wanted to do something to help support this amazing charity, as well as our friend, and we have chosen to run a half marathon in support.

What the half marathon means for us:  
We all share a love of netball (that was actually where we all met), and we like to keep active, but none of us are big runners. We decided the half marathon would be a challenge that would push us all, and allow us to train together for the race.  

All our half marathons are in September - Lucy is running a half marathon in the UK (Richmond half, September the 10th), the others are running Sydney half marathon on September the 17th. 

We've got the motivation of knowing any money we do raise will help our amazing friend, as well as NBCF, but we'd appreciate any love or support for training (anyone wanting to join us for a run let us know), but also importantly any donations to raise as much money as we can, we hope our small effort will help as we hope to kick cancers butt.
