National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is challenging all Australians to join the Quest to Zero Deaths and hold their own Game Day this May. By choosing a challenge, picking a game(s), setting a date and sharing their fundraising page they will be supporting game-changing research that saves lives.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. More than 20,000 women and men will be diagnosed in 2023. That’s 57 Australians every single day. Since NBCF’s inception in 1991, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 76% to 91% and is still rising. It’s proof that their strategy of investing in world-class research is working. However 9 Australians still lose their lives from breast cancer each day – that's 9 mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and friends.
I'm going to stream in support of the thousands of women and men whose lives have been - and will be impacted by breast cancer. Please donate to my page and you’ll be helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation to reach their goal: Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
YOU can make a difference. Support my Game Day and together we can create a future without the fear of breast cancer!
