The Farmer's Doughnut Pink Ribbon Market Day

The Farmer's Doughnut is so excited to be hosting a 'Pink Ribbon Breakfast' market this year. At the end of 2022, our family was shocked with the news that Jess's mum had been diagnosed with breast cancer. While the news was absolutely devastating, we consider ourselves lucky that her cancer was found early and was treatable. After an intense series of surgeries, she was officially cancer free at the end of February 2023. We couldn't be more grateful for the outcome. 

We empathise with those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and their families. We want to host a market day during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to raise awareness and to donate money towards Australians who are affected by breast cancer. 

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia's leading not-for-profit organisation funding world-class breast cancer research towards a vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

NBCF has one vision - Zero Deaths from breast cancer. Together we can help them get there.

We look forward to a market morning of all things pink - think pink doughnuts, pink fillings and pink jams & preserves where a percentage of the profits will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We will also be holding raffles with some excellent prizes donated by local businesses around Stanthorpe with all raffle proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. 

The Pink Ribbon Breakfast Market Day will be held on the 28th of October at the Granite Belt Farmer's Market.
