I’ve created this page because I have lost a very special person to breast cancer and want to honour their memory.
In Loving Memory of Kirsten Parmenter
Breast cancer has touched my life in a deeply personal way, and today, I want to honour the memory of Kirsten Parmenter—a kind, generous, and fun-loving woman who brought joy to so many. She adored being out in the bush, loved a good party, and, most of all, was a devoted mother to her two teenage children.
A few years ago, Kirsten was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Thanks to groundbreaking research and clinical trials, she was able to access new treatments that gave her more time with her loved ones. But despite the best advances, we lost her far too soon.
I want a future where no one has to face this heartbreak, where every person diagnosed with breast cancer has hope for a long, full life. That’s why I’m raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation—to support research that saves lives.
