Smokers 'n Shine Competition BBQ Team are going pink.

I dunno how much you know about BBQ Competitions, but I can tell you one thing.  There's a whole lotta hipsters, a whole lotta beards and a WHOLE lotta BLACK.

Smokers 'n Shine BBQ Team is about to change all that.  From the 7th to 9th of June, while we are competing at a BBQ competition in Broke, NSW, we have decided to #GoPINK for Breast Cancer research.  #PinkIsTheNewBlack

From 3-9 June, the National Breast Cancer Foundation is challenging the men & women of Australia to GO PINK in support of the thousands of mothers, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, daughters & sons that have been - or will be - affected by breast cancer.

We've joined in with this because we know WAY too many people already who have been affected by Breast Cancer.  Although survival rates for BC are statistically better than many cancers, the published stats are mostly only the 5 year survival rates, and 5 years is never enough for mothers with children, grandmothers with grandchildren, aunts, cousins, our friends and our loved ones.  People - our friends and yours - are still dying from this shit disease. cry  And it sucks.  The only way to fix this problem is to pump more money into research and find a cure NOW!

So we're raising money for life-saving research. Please donate to our page, you’ll be helping us step closer to our ultimate goal:  ZERO deaths from breast cancer by 2030, or sooner if possible.

We'll #GoPINK for all the people you (and we) know and love who have been affected by Breast Cancer.  All you have to do is chip in some cash...  Too easy!

Thanks for your donation! kiss
