Each year, more than 21,000 Australians are diagnosed with breast cancer, impacting thousands of families across Australia.
Hancock Prospecting and Gina Rinehart AO have a long history of supporting patients and driving progress in cancer care.
In the early 1990s, Mrs Rinehart established Australia’s first dedicated breast cancer foundation and initiated the nation’s first National Breast Cancer Day. She also organised a major petition that successfully lowered the age for breast cancer checks and has quietly funded patient care packages and vital research.
Pink has become part of who we are – From our iconic pink Drizabone coats to the giant pink trucks, trains and equipment at our operational sites – Serving as a constant reminder of the fight against this disease and our support over decades.
At Hancock Iron Ore, we are especially proud of the compassion our staff show to cancer patients through various fundraising and support initiatives, helping foster a culture of care, assistance and hope.
