Every day in Australia, 56 people are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 lives are lost. Those numbers are confronting, but for many of us, this isn’t just a statistic. It’s personal.

Over the past 11 years at Platinum Body, too many of our women have been touched by breast cancer. Clients, mums, sisters, friends. Some have fought. Some are still fighting, sadly, last week we lost one. That’s why sitting this one out was never an option for me.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Give to Gain”, and I truly believe when women come together, powerful things happen. This fundraiser is our chance help the National Breast Cancer Foundation, working towards Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

This isn’t about fancy events or big gestures. It’s about our girl gang standing together, honouring the women who’ve been impacted, and doing something meaningful for the future.

Every donation, big or small, helps move us closer to saving lives. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can help stop deaths from breast cancer.

In Terri's Honour

Tuesday 10th Feb
For those who didn't know, Terri was a client who became my dear friend. In 2017, Terri lost 15kgs in one of my 8 Week Challenges, which enabled her to feel a lump hiding in her breast. The lump was stage 3 Breast Cancer. After a solid fight to live her best life with her family, Terri lost her battle in January this year. 

In her honour, I am hosting our Pause & Flow Yoga & Meditation free event, an opportunity to raise much-needed funds for breast cancer research.  Please, if you can make a donation to help us make a difference. Terri has 4 young daughters, who shouldn't have lost their mum. 

Let's pay it forward Girl Gang, for ourselves, our daughter & granddaughters.
