#savethetitties#savethetitties I've had to edit my goal from $500 to $1000. Within 24 hours I've raised over $800! With thanks to you amazing people who have donated so far! I'm in the process of organising flyers to put up around town with details on how to donate. I've been given cash donations, as it is easier to transfer online, and given the circumstances I much prefer online. But I will take everything, and anything. 2 bucks, or an AMAZING $310. The idea got thrown around this arvo over a few beers that the highest donation gets to shave my head. I think that's pretty fair. From you'reyour change you find in the bottom of the washing machine, to your weeks wage (kidding) get those donations in you gorgeous lot! It's for a wonderful cause and I think the majority of you are just keen to see me bald ? in the process of me being bald, we're also saving titties. Who knows, we could just make the difference to me surviving one day, or a loved one. 8 women die each day from this mongrel thing, 1 in 675 MEN are diagnosed with breast cancer in their life time. Help me, help you save the titties..
I've made a pledge to GO PINK!
This June, the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is challenging all Australians to make a pledge and GO PINK to raise funds in support of the thousands of women and men whose lives have been - and will be - impacted by breast cancer.
I've made a pledge to WEAR IT, SHAVE IT or COLOUR IT and raise funds for game-changing research into early detection and preventative treatments for breast cancer, which is vital to increasing survival rates.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. Almost 20,000 women and men will be diagnosed this year. That’s 53 Australians every single day. Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 76% to 91%. It’s proof that their strategy of investing in world-class research is working. However 8 women still lose their lives from breast cancer each day – mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and friends.
Please donate to my page and you’ll be helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation step closer to their goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
YOU can make a difference. Let me know if you want to GO PINK with me!
