I'm now a Zero Hero
Every day, eight women die from breast cancer.
My grandmother had breast cancer. My mother had the precursors to breast cancer removed. And I have a 1 in 7 chance of being diagnosed.
As a Zero Hero, I want a world where there are ZERO deaths from
breast cancer. I believe every death from breast cancer is one too many. To
achieve this, I’m raising funds for more research, and all donations made to this
page will help do exactly that.
I know it's a hefty goal, but I'm hoping to raise at least $1000. Because this research helped my grandmother through chemo and radiation therapy. It helped my mother identify precursor cells before they could mutate. And one day, this research could help me survive.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) - despite receiving no government funding or support - is Australia’s
leading national body instigating world class, game-changing breast cancer research.
I really believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and
improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. NBCF is working
towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Together we can help
them get there.
Click 'Donate' to make a secure online donation and help me
reach my goal. Every donation, big or small, will help me get there.
All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued
with a tax-deductible receipt via email as soon as you make your donation.
Thank you so much for your support!
