Zero to Hero Angelika's Fundraiser

By Elle Chaplin

I'm now a Zero Hero

I've decided to shave/cut/colour my hair because I want a world where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer. I believe every death from breast cancer is one too many. To achieve this, I’m raising funds for more research. All donations made to this page will help do exactly that.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.

I really believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated. NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Together we can help them get there.

Click 'Donate' to make a secure online donation and help me reach my goal. Every donation, big or small, will help me get there. Please donate today.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and you will be issued with a tax-deductible receipt via email as soon as you make your donation.

Thank you so much for your support!

My Updates

We have come to the end

Saturday 29th Jun

thank you to everyone who has supported myself and my mum through this journey.

Today mum shaved her head like me and we are proud of what we have done and raised in this campaign. All money raised will help find a cure one day to stop this horrible thing called cancer.

Keep smiling

Angelika and Elle

Fundraising day

Wednesday 26th Jun
What a great school community I have. We sold over 200 cupcakes today and everyone enjoyed a free dress day wearing a touch of pink. To end out my fundraising I went and got my head shaved after school. My mum was ill so she is getting hers done next week. Thank you to everyone who has donated in any way and for all the live and support. Thanks Angelika

What I Will Do?

Sunday 2nd Jun

Hi I would just like to say that I will be having a day at my school where everyone wear's pink for a gold coin donation. My friends and I will also being selling cupcakes as well as other bits and bobs. If we don't reach $1,000 I will still shave my head and my mum will shave her head as well. Thanks For Reading!

Why I want to be a hero?

Sunday 28th Apr

I want to be a hero because my nan battled breast cancer for 23 years and sadly passed away before I was born at the age of 57. This topic is very close to mine and my families hearts. I also want to be a hero because everyone who has Breast Cancer deserves to live a happy and healthy life like the rest of us. Please support me in this big but great journey that lies ahead of me. I will keep you updated with my progress as my journey goes on.Angelika.
