Our 70 Squat Challenge for breast cancer research

57 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer today and a further 9 will lose their life. We want to make a difference to the lives of those 57 Australians impacted by the disease - that is why we are taking on the 57 Squat Challenge to raise vital funds for world-class breast cancer research. But we need your help.

Please support our squat challenge to save lives and make a difference.

Every donation, big or small, will get us closer to reaching our goal and helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation end deaths from breast cancer.

Working those thighs

Tuesday 12th Mar
Boy am I feeling my thigh muscles.
On day 8 I decided to do the entire 70 in one go. I managed it, only struggling with the last 10.
My legs were burning after that.
Just goes to show that things do get easier as time goes on.
Day 9 I wasn't able to complete the full 70 squats but made up for it on day 10 by doing 90! That was tough.
Planning to add some weights for my arms this week so let's see how i go with that

6 days down

Wednesday 6th Mar
Wow what a tough 6 days.
Day 2 of the squat challenge saw me with a knee injury from being hit with a softball.
Squatting with a swollen knee was very hard. But helped with some of the inflammation.
But finally after 5 days of pain, limping and very tender thigh muscles, everything is becoming easier ?
Looking forward to the rest of the challenge ahead
