Lets GO Pink and CUT MY HAIR!
I am cutting and donating my hair to raise funds in support of Breast Cancer Research this Mother’s Day 11th of May 2025.
This life threatening disease has struck my family three times, and so I do this act in honour of my Mum - Ingrid Comelli, my late Nonna - Miranda Comelli, and in memory of my Zia - Julie Comelli. I also do this in support of all my patients who I have cared for in my years as a cancer nurse.
All women who undergo this battle, their courage, resilience, and unwavering strength fuel my commitment to making a difference; and I hope this gesture helps raise awareness and funds for a cause very close to my heart.
Did you know that every day 58 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people die from this disease?
This May, I've made a pledge to CUT IT and raise funds for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
