After his mother passing away a few years ago due to breast cancer, my friend and I will be running 55km collectively in the month of March in her honour and to support men and women around the world who have/are experiencing this to rise money for NBCF and world-class breast cancer research. We believe that no one should have to ever go through that pain with a loved one, let alone experiencing it themselves.
55 people are diagnosed each day with breast cancer. We wanted to use this same figure but attach a positive meaning to it as we believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed and treated.
