50, Mount Kosciuszko NSW ( the finale peak)

After a year of summiting/hiking today we completed 50 peaks with a finale summit on Mount Kosciuszko a 13km walk to the summit with a elevation of 2228m the highest peak in Australia, the walk was smooth and steady along the way and a great way to end on this 50 peaks adventure.

49, Burnt Stump Hill ACT

3.1km short but sweet after Bimberi I needed a smaller hill and unfortunately the mountain I was going to summit is closed in Kosciuszko National Park but that's ok, burnt stump hill is part of the Goorooyarroo nature reserve Elevation 789m

48, Mount Bimberi ACT

22km not for the faint hearted very difficult climb experience is required to summit as there is no trail to the peak some stack stone crane markers along the way, GPS navigation is required if you lose the markers and carry a PLB as its a remote location, leg gators are a must, lots of tiger snakes about. At the base of the mountains there is sphagnum moss bogs it's the habitat of Northern Corroboree Frog, it's amazing to see their natural habitat. Bimberi sits on the boarder of Namadgi national park ACT and Kosciuszko National park NSW Elevation 1913m highest mountain in the ACT.
