Better late than never!
It is that time of the year again whenI ask you to reach in to your pockets and donate anything you can to help the 1 in 8 women and 1 in 674 men who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lives.
We CAN and we NEED to beat this thing once and for all, but a cure will not find itself.
As many of you know I lost my mother last year following a recurrence and spreading of her breast cancer, in fact this Saturday it will be one year since we said goodbye. Since then my determination to help in any way I can is stronger than ever!
Below is a few pictures of my own journey battling the beast and now at 1 year free I am no less thankful and in awe of the people who have supported me!
Australia, get ready, I’m going pink.
From 3-9 June, the National Breast Cancer Foundation is challenging the men and women of Australia to GO PINK in support of the thousands of mothers, brothers, sisters, husbands, wives, daughters and sons that have been – or will be – affected by breast cancer.
I'm going pink because breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. It’s a disease we cannot ignore. But together, we can change the outcomes.
While going pink this June, I’m raising money for game-changing breast cancer research. Please donate to my page, you’ll be helping us step closer to our ultimate goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
YOU can make a difference. Let me know if you want to GO PINK with me!
