Pink for October, Pink for Kim

This year, I am hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast event in honour of my recent mother-in-law, Kim. 
Kim fought long and hard in her battle against cancer, all while continuing to be such a positive light in so many peoples lives. In the early hours of the morning on the 11th of March this year, Kim passed on peacefully, leaving behind her adored family, many happy memories and so much love. 

Kim should be celebrating her 55th birthday in October. Instead we are finding ways to celebrate the life she lived and the abundance of love and memories she left with us. 

I am raising funds and awareness because I want to make a real difference to Australians affected by breast cancer. All donations made to this page will help do exactly that. 

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia's leading not-for-profit organisation funding world-class breast cancer research towards a vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

I believe world-class research is the best way to prevent deaths from breast cancer and can improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed, and treated.
