Wash It Australia has proudly supported breast cancer awareness for several years, but this is the first time we have joined forces with several our partners to pull together a larger-scale breast cancer awareness and fundraising initiative. We are unfortunately witnessing one of our Wash It family currently fighting breast cancer, so for us, this year more than ever, it is important to all get behind the cause. The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public. Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, the five-year survival rates for breast cancer have increased from 76% to 92%. It’s proof our strategy is working. With one in seven women diagnosed with breast cancer, there is no time like the present to start fundraising for this cause. Our aim is to have zero deaths from breast cancer. Wash it Australia has been blown away by how keen our partners are to get involved and we can’t wait to see how much we can collectively raise.
