$30 Challenge!

I reached $30 so I have pink dye on my eyebrows as I am writing this blog post, I'm so excited to have got this far already! I know my goal is ambitious but I cannot wait to see how far I can go this year! When I reach $150, I will be eating a jalapeño chilli, and anyone who knows me knows for a fact that I do not do well with anything spicy so I mean business! Let me know if you have any ideas for a checkpoint challenge, I would love to hear them!

Checkpoint Challenges

I've decided to do some checkpoint challenges for this fundraiser, when I reach $30, I will dye my eyebrows pink and at some point I will be making myself and my dog a pink tutu and wear it out on a walk with him, maybe at $100? If anyone has any ideas for any other challenges I would love to hear them!

Introduction!

Hi there!

I'm Pepper, 22, this is my first year fundraising so I have no idea what to expect. I am currently still studying my undergraduate degree with the hopes to graduate and go straight into a masters of radiography so I can take x-rays and train for mammography as soon as I can.

I am going to be dying my hair in June, as well as going as pink as I can: makeup, clothing, jewellery, shoes and so on, even if I don't raise money this time around I want to start as many conversations as possible.

I can't wait to get started and get the conversations going!

Thank you for following my journey,

Pepper xx

I've made a pledge to GO PINK!

This June, the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is challenging all Australians to make a pledge and GO PINK to raise funds in support of the thousands of women and men whose lives have been - and will be - impacted by breast cancer.

I've made a pledge to COLOUR IT and raise funds for game-changing research into early detection and preventative treatments for breast cancer, which is vital to increasing survival rates.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. Almost 20,000 women and men will be diagnosed this year. That’s 53 Australians every single day. Since NBCF’s inception in 1994, the five-year survival rate for breast cancer has increased from 76% to 91%. It’s proof that their strategy of investing in world-class research is working. However 8 women still lose their lives from breast cancer each day – mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and friends.

Please donate to my page and you’ll be helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation step closer to their goal: zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.

YOU can make a difference. Let me know if you want to GO PINK with me!
