A charity very close to home - Please support my Triathlon Pink fundraiser!
Most of you may know my love of the ocean, but swimming without fins takes me way out of my comfort zone. This is why I have decided to learn to swim properly and challenge myself with a triathlon at the tender young age of 52!!!! So many people don't have the privilege of reaching 52, so please support me and my pledge to save lives and make a difference.
Every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die every day from this disease.
That is why I am taking part in Triathlon Pink and raising funds for world-class breast cancer research to help National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.
Every donation, big or small, will get me closer to reaching my goal. Together, we can stop deaths from breast cancer.
