In October, We Wear Pink!
Each and every year, tens of thousands of Australian women receive the terrible news that they’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s the most common cancer among women in this country, and approximately 57 are diagnosed each and every day.
It’s also the
reason why each October, from start to finish, we go pink and we celebrate Breast
Cancer Awareness month, as a sign of support for those people who are
combatting the disease.
Throughout October, as we did earlier this year with the blue shirts for Men’s Mental Health Week, you will have the opportunity to show your personal support for the Breast Cancer Foundation by ordering a new shirt – but this time a pink one, instead.
These shirts have been approved for use onsite to demonstrate Greater Nammuldi’s support for breast cancer awareness and can be worn on any day of the week to create more conversations and increase awareness.
If you wish to order one, a personal donation of at least $20 must be made to the foundation. A donation receipt must be provided with your order. Orders close on Wednesday, 1 November.
