Help me Cut my Hair
Many of us have women in our lives who have suffered as a result of breast cancer, either directly or indirectly. My grandmother has been diagnosed twice and battled and beat the disease both times but she is one of the very lucky ones. Because of my personal experiences with breast cancer every few years I raise a bit of money for research and cut some of my hair off and donate it to Variety the children’s charity. This year to celebrate International Women’s day, Construction Control is helping me aim a little higher, create more awareness and make more of a difference- bringing us closer to a world where there are ZERO deaths from breast cancer.
On International Women’s day this year Construction Control’s Constitution Place site will be hosting its Tradie Tune-up with a twist. If we reach our fundraising Goal Joe Shevlin will have free reign to chop my hair off, and style it as he pleases with all proceeds going to the NBCF. The hair will be sent off to Variety to support children who suffer from alopecia, the wigs they receive made from donated hair save their families huge costs which can be spent on other treatments options instead. CC believes every death from breast cancer is one too many but to achieve zero deaths we need more research. All donations made to this page will help do exactly that.
