Firetrail is excited to host our first Women’s event in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
We're hosting this event because we want to build a stronger network of females in the Funds management industry and put an end to deaths from breast cancer - no big deal!
Barriers to women fully participating in the workforce are costing the Australian economy $128 billion. We are proud to have >30% females across the Investment team at Firetrail, and actively encourage our portfolio companies and peers to improve their diversity, and support of women, alongside us. We look forward to building the Female friends of Firetrail community through a relaxed evening of networking and nibbles.
We have chosen to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) as it is Australia’s leading national body funding game-changing breast cancer research with money raised entirely by the Australian public.
We believe research is the best way to prevent deaths, and improve how breast cancer is diagnosed, managed, and treated. NBCF is working towards one goal: zero deaths from breast cancer. Together we can help them get there.
